【London】Solo exhibition”small livings in Our Daily Life” / Dorothy Circus Gallery

My solo exhibition “Small Livings in Our Daily Life” was held at Dorothy Circus Gallery in London.
Recently, I began to feel deeply drawn to the stories and culture rooted in the UK, so this exhibition came at a particularly meaningful and joyful time for me.

Works that intentionally leave generous space within the canvas may not be widely seen overseas.
During this exhibition, the gallery thoughtfully reflected on the space I intentionally leave, finding connections to what in Japan we call ma — a quiet presence that exists between forms. I am truly grateful for their insight and sensitivity.
I have already begun exploring new directions in my work, and I hope to create pieces that audiences in the UK can enjoy even more in the future.
